  MUNICH
 
Munich is a city in the wealthiest part of Europe. You can see the centre of the city in the picture on the right. The study there is based in a famous children's hospital.

The Munich team began recruiting in 1999.

  They invited mothers who went for ante-natal care at one of the city's big hospitals to take part.
  They have recruited 500 children.
