Barcelona
is a big, exciting city by the sea. Its study is based
at the Hospital del Mar (the Hospital by the Sea) and
many of the families live nearby in Barceloneta (Little
Barcelona) which you can see in the picture on the right.
The other picture is of football fans!
The
Barcelona team began recruiting families in 1995

children are in the study. As Barcelona is a big city,
it is much more difficult to keep track of families
than in Ashford.
All
the children are now at least 4 years old.
